We are celebrating the construction of the North Island Main Trunk in 2008. It is hoped to have events in Taihape - Ohakune - Taumarunui.

The ticket shown above is that which was used to mark the 75th Anniversary of the driving of the last spike on the North Island Main Trunk in 1983.
